DGA Statement on the President’s Fox News Interview

DGA Executive Director Noam Lee issued the following statement responding to President Trump’s insults to governors during an interview with Fox News last night:
“Democratic governors have been working around the clock to combat the novel coronavirus pandemic and protect their states. Governors of both parties have persistently and urgently requested personal protective equipment, ventilators, and other medical supplies from the federal government. The president should be focused on delivering on their needs rather than resorting to petty personal attacks and blame shifting. 
“The federal government has the power to purchase mass quantities of supplies and bring order to the chaotic market for these items. Governors are simply asking the president to do his job.”
