DGA Statement on the Anniversary of the ACA
On the 12th anniversary of the enactment of the Affordable Care Act, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement:
“The Affordable Care Act has been one of the most transformational laws in our history, and Democratic governors have done critical work to uphold it and help make it work for American families.
“But the fight to ensure affordable, quality health care for all isn’t over as Republicans continue to attack health care at every turn, from their crusade to block Medicaid expansion to widespread attempts to eliminate access to reproductive care. To guarantee health care as a human right, we must elect more Democratic governors in November.”
