DGA Statement on Phil Scott Becoming the Republican Nominee for Vermont Governor

DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Phil Scott securing the Republican gubernatorial nomination in Vermont:

“Phil Scott is preventing Vermont from making progress on the biggest issues facing working families. He vetoed bills to establish paid family leave, increase the minimum wage, and tackle climate change.

“As his political party moves even further to the extremes and embraces conspiracy theories and dangerous abortion bans, the DGA will continue to hold Phil Scott accountable through November.”
