DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement in response to Stacy Garrity becoming the Republican nominee for governor in Pennsylvania:
“Stacy Garrity is an extreme election denier who has proven at every turn that her loyalty lies with Donald Trump, not with Pennsylvanians. As costs continue to go up, Garrity has championed Washington Republicans’ chaotic policies that have killed jobs, driven up healthcare costs, and continue to make life more expensive. She opposes bipartisan efforts to invest in Pennsylvania schools and communities and was even caught trying to scrub away her long record of opposing abortion rights.
“While Gov. Josh Shapiro has been a strong bipartisan leader for all Pennsylvanians, Stacy Garrity couldn’t be more wrong for Pennsylvania, and we look forward to making sure her ‘100% MAGA’ agenda never gets anywhere near the governor’s office.”
