Today, Democratic Governors Association released the following statement from Deputy Communications Director David Turner on Congressman Ron DeSantis’ latest television ad in the Florida GOP Republican gubernatorial primary:
“Ron DeSantis’ latest television ad confirms the Republican primary will be solely determined by who has the fiercest commitment to President Trump. The challenges Florida’s families face barely register on the list of priorities either candidate wants to discuss. Instead, it’s been replaced with statements, interviews, and ads that represent the cult-like fervor that has swept over the Republican party, even when President Trump’s policies are hurting Floridians. It would be sad if it wasn’t so pathetic.”
