DGA Statement on Mike Ramone Announcing He Will Run for Delaware Governor

Democratic Governors Association Political Director Chris Sloan released the following statement in response to Republican Delaware House Minority Leader Mike Ramone announcing that he is running for governor:

“Mike Ramone’s right-wing record is wrong and dangerous for Delaware. Ramone’s extreme agenda includes hurting working families by voting against a minimum wage increase and protections for health care for people with pre-existing conditions. He’s also sided with the anti-choice extremists by supporting unnecessary restrictions on abortion medication.

“While the GOP primary is just getting started, there is no doubt Delaware voters will reject whoever wins the Republican nomination and elect another great Democratic governor in November.”
