Today, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper issued the following statement on Mayor Muriel Bowser securing the D.C. Democratic mayoral nomination:

“As D.C.’s chief executive, Mayor Muriel Bowser has taken bold action to boost and diversify D.C’s economy, speed up affordable housing production, and invest in programs and policies that put families first.
