DGA Statement on Marjorie Taylor Greene Declining to Run for Governor of Georgia
Today, Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that she will not run for governor of Georgia. Even without Greene in the race, Burt Jones and Chris Carr are stuck in an acrimonious and tense primary defined by partisan jabs and nasty infighting.
DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on Greene’s decision:
“Whoever ends up as the Republican gubernatorial nominee in Georgia will be too extreme and out of touch for the people of Georgia.”
