DGA Statement on Lee Zeldin Becoming the Republican Nominee for Governor of New York

DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Lee Zeldin securing the Republican gubernatorial nomination in New York:

“Lee Zeldin is a MAGA Republican who’s completely out of touch with New York values. His record includes objecting to certifying the 2020 election results to prove his loyalty to Trump, voting for an abortion ban, and opposing commonsense gun safety laws that make communities safer. 

“Zeldin would only drag New York backward — and the DGA will help defeat him and his harmful agenda this November.”
