DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy released the following statement on Kristin Robbins launching a campaign for governor in Minnesota:
“Kristin Robbins is the exact opposite of what Minnesota families are looking for in their governor, and her entrance into the race makes Minnesota’s Republican primary an increasingly crowded race to the far-right. Robbins is unapologetic about her out of touch record of supporting devastating cuts to Minnesota’s public schools – even questioning if keeping kids from going hungry at school is ‘really a priority’ – advocating to raise taxes and cut jobs, and pushing to rip away reproductive rights in the state.
“Kristin Robbins and this extreme field of GOP candidates will be held accountable for their dangerous agenda, and we look forward to making sure none of them ever get close to the governor’s office.”
