DGA Statement on Kendall Qualls Running for Governor in Minnesota

DGA Communications Director Sam Newton released the following statement in response to Kendall Qualls running for governor in Minnesota:

“Since taking office, Governor Walz has delivered strong results for Minnesota and made historic progress on the biggest issues facing working families every day. He’s cut taxes for the middle class, gone after wasteful spending, lowered the cost of prescription drugs, signed the largest infrastructure bill in Minnesota history, and made historic investments in public education – including delivering free school meals – all while standing up for fundamental freedoms like abortion rights and voting rights. No matter who decides to run as a Republican, Governor Walz has shown he’s a leader Minnesotans can trust to get real results and that’s exactly the type of leadership they’ll want to stick with.”
