DGA Statement on Josh Shapiro Becoming the Democratic Nominee for Pennsylvania Governor

DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement in response to Attorney General Josh Shapiro officially becoming the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania governor:

“Attorney General Josh Shapiro is a proven winner with a record of taking on the big fights to get things done for Pennsylvania families, from taking on abusers and public corruption to getting illegal guns off the streets. His plans to lower costs, improve schools and grow the economy will help everyday families, while also protecting our freedoms that are under attack — like voting rights and reproductive rights.
