DGA Statement on Jocelyn Benson’s Clear Win in the Michigan Gubernatorial Debate  

DGA Communications Director Sam Newton released the following statement on the Michigan gubernatorial debate:

“Two-time statewide winner Jocelyn Benson absolutely demolished John James tonight, who only spent the last hour getting closer to becoming a three-time statewide loser. Benson directly outlined how she’ll fix broken systems to help Michigan families as they are hurting from cost-hiking policies in DC like the ‘John James Tax’ that is a result of the tariffs he supports. In contrast, James couldn’t escape his record of only being out for himself, along with his other harmful votes to raise the cost of gas, groceries, and health care.”
