As JD Vance campaigns in Michigan alongside John James, DGA Communications Director Sam Newton released the following statement:

“JD Vance’s visit to Michigan is a major reminder that John James has been a rubber stamp for the Trump Administration’s cost hikes on groceries, gas, housing, and health care, while he’s lined his own pockets from shady stock trades and increased his net worth. James also owns all the price spikes on everyday items as he voted for Trump’s tariffs and refuses to oppose their chaotic trade war with Canada. Michiganders can’t afford to pay the John James tax any longer, and that’s exactly why he’ll be a three-time statewide loser in November.”
