The following is a statement by DGA Chair Roy Cooper on Gov. Tony Evers’ reelection in Wisconsin:

“Congratulations to Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on his reelection victory. In his second term as governor, Tony will continue his work to improve the lives of Wisconsin families and ensure a bright future for the state.

“As governor, Tony has fulfilled his promise to be the ‘education governor’ and has made historic investments in Wisconsin students and teachers. During his next term, he will continue to fight for Wisconsinites — reducing taxes, protecting reproductive freedoms, addressing climate change, and defending democracy. 

“The DGA was proud to support Gov. Evers’ reelection campaign, and we look forward to standing alongside him in the important work of pushing Wisconsin forward.”
