DGA Statement on Governor Tina Kotek’s Victory in Oregon
DGA Chair Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear released the following statement on Gov. Tina Kotek being re-elected in Oregon:
“Congratulations to Governor Tina Kotek on being re-elected governor of Oregon. Governor Kotek earned a second term by staying focused on addressing the state’s biggest challenges, from fighting to lower health care and housing costs, to tackling homelessness and expanding addiction and mental health services. She has stood up for Oregon against the Trump administration’s dangerous attempts to deploy the National Guard into Oregon communities and its cuts to Medicaid and food assistance. There’s no doubt Governor Kotek will continue getting results for Oregon, and we look forward to working with her throughout her second term.”
