The following is a statement from DGA Chair Gov. Roy Cooper on Gov. Tim Walz’s reelection in Minnesota:

“Congratulations to Gov. Tim Walz on his reelection victory in Minnesota’s gubernatorial election. As governor, Tim has navigated unprecedented challenges and has committed to bringing Minnesotans together to push the state forward.

“In his first term as governor, Tim made historic investments in education, brought good-paying jobs to Minnesota, and fought to lower costs for health care and prescription drugs. With a career built on public service, Tim knows his work is never finished and will continue fighting for a better Minnesota.

“The DGA looks forward to working alongside Gov. Walz as he continues to fight for opportunity for families in every corner of the state.”
