DGA Statement on Governor Kate Brown’s Re-election in Oregon

DGA Chair Governor Jay Inslee (D-WA) issued the following statement on Governor Kate Brown’s re-election in Oregon:
“I congratulate my friend and colleague Governor Kate Brown on her re-election. Kate Brown won a huge victory despite facing a Republican funded by a record amount of special interest cash. This victory is a testament to Kate’s leadership and campaign skills.
“I’ve been honored to join Governor Brown in representing the Pacific Northwest and fighting back against damaging plans coming out of the Trump administration in Washington. On issues from expanding access to health care and growing an economy that works for middle class families to protecting the environment and improving education, Governor Brown is getting things done. But she’s not finished yet: I know she will accomplish great things for Oregonians in her next term.”
