The following is a statement from DGA Chair Gov. Roy Cooper on Gov. JB Pritzker’s reelection in Illinois:
“Congratulations to Gov. JB Pritzker on his reelection as governor of Illinois. With this victory, he can continue his work and keep fighting for all Illinoisans.
“JB’s proven leadership has expanded affordable health care, improved credit ratings, and made historic investments in education and infrastructure. He has a proven track record of delivering on his promises and pushing policies that will help the working families of Illinois. Under his administration, he took action to protect reproductive freedoms, defend civil rights, and fight gun violence across the state.
