DGA Chair Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear released the following statement on Gov. JB Pritzker being re-elected in Illinois:
“Congratulations to Governor JB Pritzker on being re-elected governor of Illinois and becoming the first Democratic governor to win three terms in the state. Governor Pritzker has a proven track record of delivering for all Illinoisans, including lowering the cost of prescription drugs, enshrining reproductive rights in state law, raising wages, and securing a historic twelve credit rating upgrades for the state. Illinoisans know he’s the right leader to continue building on this progress and investing in health care, education, and infrastructure.
