DGA Statement on Governor Jay Inslee’s Victory in Washington Primary

DGA Chair New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy today issued the following statement on Governor Jay Inslee’s primary victory in Washington: 

“Congratulations to Gov. Inslee on his primary victory tonight. The governor’s focus on expanding economic opportunity and protecting working families puts Washington State in a better position as they bounce back from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tonight, Washingtonians overwhelmingly voiced their approval for Gov. Inslee’s steady, clear leadership during this crisis. As we move forward and out of this moment, I look forward to working with Gov. Inslee as he builds on his past successes enacting paid family medical leave, making historic investments in education, and building an economy for working people.”
