DGA Chair Governor Jay Inslee (D-WA) issued the following statement on Governor Andrew Cuomo’s re-election in New York:
“Congratulations to my colleague Governor Andrew Cuomo for winning re-election in New York. New Yorkers can count on Governor Cuomo to be their champion and continue to expand policies like paid family leave, a higher minimum wage, and expanding access to higher education and affordable health care.
“I’ve been proud to work with Governor Cuomo to lead the way in fighting back against President Trump’s dangerous agenda, and I look forward to serving alongside him during his next term.”
