Today, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper issued the following statement on Gov. Tony Evers:

“Gov. Tony Evers’ steady leadership continues to build a stronger Wisconsin by investing in Wisconsin families, farmers, and small businesses. In his first term, Tony followed through on his promises to cut taxes for the middle class, fix thousands of miles of roads and bridges, and fund public schools at their highest level ever. Tony has also been a steadfast line of defense against GOP attempts to ban abortion and undermine elections.

“There’s so much at stake in this race, and Gov. Tony Evers is the only candidate who will do the right thing to support working families. The DGA is proud to support his run for reelection.”
