DGA Statement on Gov. Tina Kotek’s Clear Win in the Oregon Gubernatorial Debate  

DGA Deputy Communications Director Johanna Warshaw released the following statement on the Oregon gubernatorial debate:

“Tonight made clear what Oregonians have known all along: While Governor Tina Kotek is focused on continuing to make progress for Oregon and standing up to Donald Trump’s attacks, Christine Drazan wants to bring Trump’s MAGA agenda to Oregon. Governor Kotek highlighted her continued work to lower health care costs, expand affordable housing and address homelessness, and build an economy that works for all Oregonians. Meanwhile, Drazan was desperate to hide her record of pushing Trump’s agenda in Oregon – including gutting Medicaid, restricting access to abortion, and eliminating vote-by-mail. Drazan’s broke campaign was already struggling, and tonight’s failed attempts to hide her out-of-step extremism should have Republicans even more anxious.”
