DGA Statement on Gov. Phil Murphy Securing the Democratic Gubernatorial Nomination in New Jersey

Today, DGA Chair New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham issued the following statement on Governor Phil Murphy securing the New Jersey Democratic gubernatorial nomination:

“Congratulations to Gov. Murphy on securing the Democratic nomination for governor in New Jersey. In his first term, Gov. Murphy expanded access to affordable health care, combatted climate change, and put public health above partisanship to support New Jerseyans during the pandemic. 

“Despite the overwhelming challenges of the pandemic, Gov. Murphy has helped institute meaningful change in his state while staying focused on the issues that matter to New Jersey families. I am excited to reelect Gov. Murphy to a second term to keep New Jersey moving forward.”
