Today, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper issued the following statement on Gov. Laura Kelly:

“Gov. Laura Kelly is a steady leader who has successfully turned Kansas around. By meeting both parties in the middle, Laura turned a fiscal disaster into a balanced budget, fully funded public schools, and elimination of the state food tax. Under her watch, Kansas has also shattered economic records and attracted more than $13.5 billion in new investments by businesses, including recently landing the largest economic development project in Kansas history. 

“The DGA looks forward to supporting Gov. Laura Kelly as she continues to deliver the strong bipartisan leadership Kansas families deserve.”
