DGA Statement on Gov. Jared Polis’ Reelection Announcement
Today, following the announcement that Colorado Gov. Jared Polis is running for reelection in 2022, DGA Chair Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement:

He’s tackled the largest challenges facing the state head-on with comprehensive plans to create affordable housing opportunities, expand access to health care, invest in public education, and ensure Coloradans can keep more of their hard-earned money.
“Facing unprecedented crises — from natural disasters to a global pandemic — Gov. Polis took immediate action and made sure no one was left behind as he guided the state towards recovery. Despite these challenges, Gov. Polis’ leadership has been a boon to Colorado’s economy, which has seen strong growth in new businesses, good-paying jobs, and lower taxes for Coloradans during his time in office.
