DGA Statement on Georgia Republican Runoff

Today, DGA Executive Director Elisabeth Pearson released the following statement on the Georgia Republican runoff:
“Casey Cagle said it best: this primary was all about ‘who could be the craziest’ on divisive issues, and Brian Kemp fits the bill,” said Pearson. “Throughout this campaign, Brian Kemp has pushed a divisive agenda that would endanger the state’s economic climate, and hurt Georgia families. 
“If Brian Kemp becomes the next governor, Georgia will be closed for business. Stacey Abrams is the only candidate fighting to make sure every Georgian has the freedom and opportunity to thrive. Georgia voters have a clear choice this November: to move the state forward with Stacey Abrams, or drag it backward with Brian Kemp.”
