DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement in response to Dr. Jason Martin securing the Democratic gubernatorial nomination in Tennessee:

“As a doctor, business owner, and father, Dr. Jason Martin has dedicated his career to improving the lives and livelihoods of working families — and now he’s running on a bold agenda that puts everyday Tennesseeans first. His commonsense plans will expand health care to 400,000 people, improve public education, fix the state’s failing infrastructure, and create more economic opportunities in every corner of the state.
