DGA Statement on Dan Feltes’ Victory in New Hampshire Primary
DGA Chair New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy today issued the following statement on New Hampshire Senate Majority Leader Dan Feltes’ primary victory in New Hampshire:
“Congratulations to New Hampshire Senate Majority Leader Dan Feltes on his primary victory today. Dan grew up in a working class family, which motivated him to become a legal aid lawyer and fight for people who are being left behind – like the Granite Staters who were denied paid family and medical leave, a minimum wage increase, and job training by out-of-touch Gov. Chris Sununu.
“During his time in the state legislature, Dan has worked across the aisle to expand access to health care for 50,000 Granite Staters, protect health care for people with pre-existing conditions, invest in renewable energy, lower prescription drug costs, and establish the toughest drinking water standards in the country.
“Dan has the experience to lead New Hampshire as governor through a COVID-19 relief and recovery that works for every Granite Stater, not just the wealthy few. He will work to make health care more affordable, increase the minimum wage, and shore up investments in public education. He will put public health above partisanship and work to improve the quality of life for all Granite Staters.
“The DGA looks forward to fighting with Dan Feltes for a better New Hampshire for everyone.”
