DGA Statement on Christine Drazan Winning the Oregon GOP Primary for Governor
DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Christine Drazan winning the GOP primary for governor of Oregon:
“Christine Drazan is on the wrong side of Oregon values. She closed out her campaign bragging about support from extremists who want to overturn Roe v. Wade, opposes common-sense efforts to tackle gun violence, voted against expanding affordable housing and would do nothing to stop the harmful effects of climate change on Oregon communities. Drazan is also stuck with a deeply divided Republican Party after barely getting the nomination with a historically low percentage of votes. The choice facing Oregon voters this November is clear; Democrats are focused on making life better, safer and more affordable for families while Christina Drazan will say or do anything to drag the state backward.”
