DGA Statement on Chris Sununu Becoming the Republican Nominee for Governor of New Hampshire

DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Chris Sununu securing the Republican gubernatorial nomination in New Hampshire:

“Chris Sununu has betrayed New Hampshire families by signing a dangerous abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest that criminalizes doctors and nurses. He also voted to defund Planned Parenthood and cut funding for public schools while granting tax giveaways to out-of-state corporations. As Sununu relentlessly prioritizes his self-serving political ambitions, he’s facing growing backlash from within his own party.

“Chris Sununu’s extreme agenda is out of step with New Hampshire, and the DGA looks will continue holding him accountable.”
