DGA Statement on Carol Blood Becoming the Democratic Nominee for Governor of Nebraska

Tonight, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement on Carol Blood’s primary victory in Nebraska:

“Congratulations to state Senator Carol Blood on securing the Democratic nomination for Governor of Nebraska. She has a strong record of winning tough elections — including beating an incumbent Republican — and delivering bipartisan solutions to the kitchen-table issues working families face. Blood plans to provide real tax relief and not continue kicking the can down the road. And her plan to expand workforce development and fix local roads and bridges will kickstart the state’s economy and put Nebraska families first.
