DGA Statement on Brian Kemp Winning the Georgia GOP Primary for Governor
DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Brian Kemp winning the GOP primary for governor of Georgia:
“While Brian Kemp may have been bailed out of this nasty primary race with the RGA spending over $5 million, he’s still the most vulnerable incumbent governor in the country. As Donald Trump’s favorite punching bag, Kemp is stuck with a deeply divided party, and Georgians won’t forget his dangerous record of making it easier for criminals to carry guns, passing extreme abortion restrictions, and refusing to expand health care for working families. At a time when Georgians want to come together to solve problems, Kemp’s extreme agenda and divisive record mean his problems are only just beginning.”
