DGA Statement on Bob Stefanowski Winning the Connecticut GOP Primary for Governor

DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Bob Stefanowski winning the Connecticut GOP primary for governor:

“Bob Stefanowski is a proud MAGA Republican with a shady business record and is too extreme for Connecticut. He opposes common sense gun safety laws, won’t commit to protecting abortion rights and backed a radical tax scheme that would decimate the state budget, leading to higher health care costs and deep cuts to essential services like public schools. Stefanowski also profited millions off a loan scheme designed to prey on veterans and low-income families and helped offshore good-paying American jobs. 

“Connecticut families will reject Stefanowski and his MAGA agenda in November.”
