DGA Statement on Allan Fung’s Support of Trump’s Agenda
Today, Democratic Governors Association Communications Director Jared Leopold released the following statement regarding Cranston Mayor Allan Fung’s (R-RI) endorsement of President Donald Trump’s tax bill.
“Allan Fung has finally come out of hiding to admit he stands for President Trump’s policy agenda. These are the facts: Middle-class Rhode Islanders will face a bigger tax hit because of the President’s tax giveaway to billionaires and special interests.
“Allan Fung is a Trump Republican who will do nothing to stop the President from pushing his wrong agenda on Rhode Island. Rhode Islanders can’t afford a Trump Republican in the Governor’s office.”
