Today, DGA Communications Director Jared Leopold released the following statement regarding the special election in Kansas:
“This close race is a bad sign for Republicans in the Kansas governor’s race next November. Kansas voters are fed up with Brownback economics and will reject the next Brownback clone that Republicans nominate. If Kansas Republicans thought that running away from Sam Brownback in a federal race was hard, they can’t be looking forward to the race to succeed the deeply unpopular governor.”
