DGA Releases New Video, “Bayou Boom“
Today, the Democratic Governors Association released a new video, “Bayou Boom,” highlighting how Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards is bringing huge economic development wins to the Pelican State.
Under Gov. Edwards’ tenure, Louisiana has seen significant economic wins. The state has its lowest unemployment rate in a decade. Louisiana has seen a new wave of growth in the Industrial Corridor, the petrochemical corridor between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Louisiana has three of the top ten markets in the South for fintech, earning the state the nickname “Silicon Bayou.” New Orleans is even being recognized nationally as “the Silicon Valley of the South” for remaking itself into a bonafide tech hub.
Louisiana is open for business with Gov. Edwards at the helm.
