DGA Endorses Stacey Plaskett for Governor of the United States Virgin Islands

DGA Chair Governor Andy Beshear issued the following statement in support of Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett’s candidacy for Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands:

“I am proud to support Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett’s campaign to be the next governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Stacey has been a tireless advocate for the U.S. Virgin Islands, from expanding Medicaid to securing a $24 billion investment to rebuild schools and hospitals after Hurricanes Irma and Maria. As governor, Stacey will fight to deliver record investments in health care and education and cut red tape to accelerate disaster recovery. I am confident that with Stacey’s experience and dedication, she’ll be a great governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the DGA is excited to have her back.”
