Chip in today to elect Dem govs across the country >>

Democratic governors are leading the fight against Donald Trump and his administration – and they need your help. Trump and his allies have hundreds of millions of dollars to attack our candidates, and we have to make sure we’ve got the resources to fight back. With 36 races on the map this November, 80% of Americans will cast their vote for their next governor. We need to invest NOW to expand our map, win in battleground states, protect our blue firewall of Dem govs, and flip critical states from red to blue. Can Dem govs count on you to chip in right now?

DGA Chair Michelle Lujan Grisham’s Statement on President Biden’s Address to the Joint Congress

Latest News

This evening, following President Biden’s first address to the joint Congress, Democratic Governors Association Chair New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham released the following statement:

“President Biden’s first 100 days in office have been defined by progress and competency. He articulated a clear vision for how the future of our country can be filled with more opportunities for all Americans. His agenda builds on the historic health and economic relief delivered in the American Rescue Plan – and will strengthen the foundation of our country – America’s families, workers, kids, and our communities.

“Already, the Democratic governors across the country are tackling the same issues that will shape President Biden’s agenda. We are working to increase access to health care to support working parents and caregivers, to combat climate change and to jumpstart our economy so it is stronger than ever before. I’m especially proud of the role New Mexico and all states led by Democratic governors have played in administering vaccines and helping President Biden achieve the incredible goal of 200 million doses in his first 100 days.

“Building on the partnership between Democratic governors and the Biden Administration, our future is bright and we look forward to continuing working together to build back better and move our country forward.”
