DGA Chair Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear released the following statement on Lynne Walz securing the Democratic nomination for governor in Nebraska:
“Congratulations to Lynne Walz on becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Nebraska. Lynne is a life-long Nebraskan and former public school teacher who won twice in a district Donald Trump carried by 33 points. In the state legislature, she earned a reputation as a bipartisan problem solver who worked across the aisle to support first responders, expand rural broadband, and boost teacher recruitment and retention. Lynne is running for governor to bring people together to get things done and ensure every family can build a safe, affordable life in Nebraska.”
