DGA Chair Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear released the following statement on Gov. JB Pritzker securing the Democratic nomination for governor in Illinois:
“Congratulations to Gov. JB Pritzker on becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Illinois. Thanks to Gov. Pritzker’s leadership, Illinois has seen a historic comeback — economic development is on the rise, businesses are creating thousands of new good-paying jobs, wages are up, and the state has seen a remarkable ten credit rating upgrades. Illinoisans have Gov. Pritzker to thank for historic investments in infrastructure and education, greater access to affordable health care, and steadfast protection of their rights and fundamental freedoms. The DGA looks forward to working alongside Gov. Pritzker to make sure he can continue working hard for Illinoisans.”
