DGA-Backed Group Launches New Ad on Pre-Existing Conditions in Maine

Ad: ‘’Shawn Moody is not fighting for Maine.”

Today, A Better Maine, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Governors Association released a new ad, “Same.”
The ad highlights the threat Shawn Moody poses to Mainers with pre-existing conditions. Moody opposed expanding health care that would allow 89,000 Mainers to access the care they need. Moody also opposes the law that keeps insurance companies from denying coverage to those with pre-existing conditions.

“Moody opposed expanding health care, denying nearly 90,000 Mainers access to critical care.
“And Moody opposes the law stopping insurance companies from denying coverage for pre-existing conditions.
“They should worry about fighting cancer, not fighting for coverage. Shawn Moody is not fighting for Maine.”
