DGA-Backed Group Launches New Ad In Missouri

A Stronger Missouri, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Governors Association, released a new TV ad in Missouri, “Remodeling.”

As Missouri Gov. Mike Parson climbed the ranks in the Show Me State, he treated it like the Show Me The Money State. Parson was the only statewide elected official to accept gifts and perks from lobbyists. Parson also used public funds to treat himself to lavish items – he spent over $50,000 in taxpayer money remodeling his office, including over $8,000 on furniture alone. While Parson was sure to take care of himself, he was slow to act on the COVID-19 pandemic, and he has failed to help working families. Parson opposed lower health care costs for Missourians and let 100,000 children lose their health care. The ad makes it clear –  Mike Parson works for himself, not for Missourians.
