DGA-Backed Group Launches New Ad in Maine

Today, A Better Maine, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Governors Association released a new ad, “Said It.”
The ad highlight’s Shawn Moody’s comments that Maine schools are “overfunded.” It’s clear Moody’s in the wrong: Maine’s schools are struggling with underpaid teachers and crumbling buildings. Maine needs a governor who will fight for the state’s students, not an education disaster like Shawn Moody.

These days, saying it doesn’t make it true. Take Shawn Moody. 
“Do you believe Maine schools are adequately funded?” 
“They’re overfunded.”
If Shawn Moody stepped in a Maine school, He’d know better. Outdated buildings, underpaid teachers, falling behind neighboring states. 
“They’re overfunded.”
Shawn Moody would be a disaster for Maine schools.
Now that’s true.
