DGA-Backed Group Launches New Ad in Maine

Today, A Better Maine, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Governors Association released a new ad, “Overfunded.”
The ad uses Republican gubernatorial candidate Shawn Moody’s own words to highlight his disastrous plan for Maine schools. Despite Maine’s crumbling schools, underpaid teachers and struggling education system, Moody says Maine schools are “overfunded.” Maine schools deserve a governor that will invest in students and teachers.

Shawn Moody: “They’re overfunded.”
Narrator: “Outdated buildings. Underpaid teacher. Yet candidate for governor Shawn Moody said Maine schools are over funded.
After eight years of Maine students falling further behind, with their futures at stake, can we afford to put Shawn Moody in charge of our schools.”
Moody: “They’re overfunded.”
