DGA-Backed Group Launches First Ad In Missouri
A Stronger Missouri, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Governors Association, released its first TV ad in Missouri, “Gifts.”
For years, Missouri Gov. Mike Parson used his position to rack up gifts and perks from lobbyists and special interest groups. For the expenses that lobbyists didn’t cover, Parson charged the taxpayers and got caught. Parson took gifts for himself, but opposed lower health care costs for Missourians and let 100,000 children lose their health care, leaving Missouri families vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mike Parson is clearly only out for himself.
The new ad comes as at least four national race raters have downgraded Mike Parson’s advantage in the race, citing Parson’s poor handling of COVID-19 and Galloway’s impressive credentials and strong fundraising quarters.
