Daniel Cameron Can’t Run from His Extreme Opposition to Exceptions for Rape and Incest

Daniel Cameron thought he could get away with trying to run from his long-held and dangerous record of opposing exceptions for rape and incest when it comes to banning abortion with less than two months before the general election.

But, as pointed out by several news outlets, Cameron’s position on this has been clear, claiming he “supports the current law” that does not allow for exceptions for rape or incest, including in the case of a 9-year-old rape survivor, and that “there is no rape, incest exception” in Kentucky.

Cameron made defending the state’s trigger law a top priority in his office as attorney general and his running mate, state Senator Robby Mills, even voted down a provision for rape and incest exceptions.

Yesterday, the DGA released a video of Cameron opposing exceptions for rape and incest in his own words.
