Dan Cox Ramps Up MAGA Extremism with Trump Fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago
According to a new report from the Hill, Dan Cox is set to make the MAGA pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago for a fundraiser with his biggest hero Donald Trump next month.
Instead of focusing on issues impacting Maryland families, Cox has courted Trump by leaning into his extremist track record of embracing Q-Anon conspiracy theories, busing insurrectionists to Trump’s January 6th rally, and calling Mike Pence a “traitor” during the violent Capitol attack.
“Dan Cox is chomping at the bit for a chance to kiss the ring of Donald Trump, whose dangerous MAGA agenda he’s modeled his entire campaign after,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton. “Whether he’s trying out to be Trump’s volunteer lawyer again or just desperate to shore up more far-right support, Cox’s trip down to Florida proves he’s all-in on bringing Trump’s toxic politics to Maryland.”
