“Complete Scam”: Business Reviews Show How Sears Ripped Off Virginia Customers

One Reviewer of Sears’ Business Wrote: “The worst company I have ever dealt with”

A new report from NOTUS reveals how, despite touting her record as a so-called “successful” business owner on the campaign trail, Lt. Gov Winsome Earle-Sears would “regularly debate and argue with her customers” who left poor reviews after feeling scammed and ripped off.

Just look at what Virginians had to say about Winsome Sears’ business in reviews that were unearthed by NOTUS:

  • “This place is a complete scam.”

  • “Refused to complete the job.”

  • “Prepare to be treated poorly.”

  • “Rude and nasty and would not listen to anything I had to say.”

This comes as the Washington Post outlined how Sears’ campaign is canceling events without much notice in favor of hosting “small and private events or public appearances with little media coverage.”

Sears has been refusing to comment publicly on her extreme anti-abortion record, failing to speak out against Donald Trump’s disastrous plan to gut Medicaid, and dismissing the concerns of Virginians who lost their jobs.

“Virginians have already felt ripped off by Winsome Sears — and it’d be even worse if she’s governor, as she mocks Virginians who lost their jobs and refuses to oppose ongoing threats to rip health care away from over 300,000 people,” said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. “It’s no wonder Sears is cancelling events and is scared to answer questions about her failed record and extreme agenda.”
